PRIYAN DE SILVA, P.E., Master Electrician
CEO / Chief Engineer
Priyan has over 19 years of experience in the electrical industry with an emphasized focus on complex power systems. Recognized as a leader in his field, he specializes in electrical design, system integration, and power system studies for intricate facilities rated as large as 345 kV. His industry experience includes water/wastewater, railway electrification, and utility transmission & distribution systems. Priyan is both a licensed professional engineer and a licensed master electrician. While in the field, he is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and physically perform electrical equipment modifications while using his complementary engineering knowledge. This practical experience and dual mindset have allowed him to ensure that clients successfully achieve their customized goals on large-scale electrical projects. Priyan graduated from Virginia Tech with a BSEE degree and remains professionally active as a Senior Member of IEEE. When not involved with electrical projects, Priyan enjoys the outdoors, visiting new places, and experiencing new cultures and cuisines. (LinkedIn)
ALAN CINSAVICH
Principal Engineer
Alan has truly enjoyed his 48 years in the electrical industry where he started out as a motor repair technician and test stand operator. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a BSEE degree, he served as a manufacturer’s representative and field service engineer for many years. This allowed him to gain valuable experience in several industrial segments including paper, steel, cement, petrochemical, oil & gas, as well as large data centers. His work in power systems analysis and modeling of both AC and DC systems has allowed him to serve as an application engineer and designer for industrial distribution system projects. His particular specialty is in the design, protection, and control of small to medium-scale, customer-owned, non-utility generation systems. He has since augmented his extensive AC system experience with participation in DC traction systems; having been involved with upgrades to rail transit systems. Alan remains professionally active as a Member of IEEE. When not involved with electrical projects, Alan enjoys mineralogy and gemology as well as international travel, and occasionally playing the piano. (LinkedIn)
RICHARD REID, Master Electrician
Sr. Construction Manager/Inspector
Richard has over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry with a focus that specializes in electrical construction. His background encompasses commercial facilities where he emphasizes on power distribution systems, fire alarm systems, power/data cabling, DDC/BAS systems, emergency power, and motor controls. His industry experience includes military facilities, office buildings, water/wastewater infrastructure, and data centers. His work experience in electrical construction, electrical inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and construction management have allowed him to ensure that client facilities are delivered and installed in a safe, reliable, and functional manner. Richard has a BS in Construction Management and is a licensed master electrician in several states. When not involved with electrical projects, Richard enjoys coaching youth track & field as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
ANDREA COLINA
Sr. Electrical Designer
Andrea has over 12 years of experience in the electrical industry with a focus that specializes in electrical design. While originally starting out as a CADD technician, she worked her way up through the ranks to become an experienced electrical designer. Her responsibilities include the design of medium and low-voltage power distribution systems, electrical plans, emergency generation systems, AC/DC control schematics, and industrial process control systems. Her background includes water/wastewater facilities, mass transit systems, commercial buildings, and data centers. As a seasoned electrical designer, Andrea has a keen eye for emphasizing attention to detail and has established design procedures to ensure that clients achieve construction excellence by ensuring that the correct solution is implemented properly the first time. As an active Member of IEEE, she is also engaged in IEEE Women in Engineering society. When not involved with electrical projects, Andrea enjoys being a mother and spending time with her family and friends. (LinkedIn)
