Electrical Engineer
This position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your experience and knowledge in electrical engineering – in other words, how to become a true problem solver in the electrical industry. The qualified candidate should have a working knowledge in power systems including medium and low voltage distribution, AC/DC schematics, generation systems, substations, switchgear, motor controls, and VFDs. Candidate must also have good written and verbal communication skills, including interaction with clients.
Responsibilities Include:
Working on project teams with other engineers in the design, integration, startup, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Undertaking challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving complex power system issues.
Developing hands-on, customized integration solutions for automation controls, power system protection controls, motor controls, and SCADA systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and applicable UL/ANSI standards
Understanding of practical electrical engineering aspects as it applies to developing technical plans, designs, shop drawings, and power system studies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
